A great “Site Concept” must…

be in demand. A reasonable number of people must be searching for information about your theme. If your theme is too narrow (ex., an unknown off-island-off-an-off-island in the Caribbean), there is not enough demand for you to monetize, even if your entire (too tiny) market finds you!

not be too broad. If your Site Concept is too broad, the competition will be severe. The number of competing Web pages (the “Real Supply”) is just too great, especially since broad themes usually have major competitors. For example, it is impossible to “own” the theme of “travel.” Leave those super-broad themes to companies like expedia.com. Even the Site Concept of “Caribbean” is highly competitive. If you have 60 hours per week and are ready to work for a year, you might succeed. But creating a site about one of the islands is your best opportunity…

You most likely know a lot about one island. And that goes for “islands of knowledge,” not just geographic islands!

The competition will be less intense. So it will be easier for your well-written content pages to rank highly with the free Search Engines.

Those who find you will be highly targeted. They will be much more interested in your Content. It is far easier to PREsell those searching for topics (“keywords”) related to narrow themes than broad ones.

excite you. Choose something that you know and love (or that you are willing to find out more about). If you do that, writing lots of information-packed content pages becomes an easy pleasure instead of work. Think “passion” and “knowledge” — if you have it, it will shine in your content.

deliver high ROI potential. It must offer excellent options for monetizing traffic to your site. This ensures the ROI (Return On Investment) you want. Make every visitor to your site a possible income-generator.

Merely understand the above factors for now. When the time comes (at the end of this DAY), SBI! provides you with a foolproof tool (Niche Choose It!) to gather and evaluate all these factors and then find the best Site Concept for you.

Bottom line on choosing your Site Concept?…

It takes just as much time to build a low-potential business as a high-potential one. So invest the time now, get the Site Concept right, and you will maximize your returns later, earning far more income per hour invested down the road.

The Plan… How to Develop Your Best Site Concept

Most people fail in any business because they don’t plan adequately. If you pick the wrong concept for your site, if you develop the wrong topics for your Web pages… you’ll get the wrong results.

Search engine optimization or SEO is the tool for making a site increases its ranking on search engines. Making the right adjustments for your site so that the search engine can read it easily is how it is done. With the right optimizer, even though search engines like Google and Yahoo have programs that scan websites, you can use these programs to your benefit. How? By finding the right information on a website the program determines the value of the site. Now if you optimize your site, you can actually present the right information the programs are looking for.

The first thing that the programs are looking for are the keywords. It should have the right keywords for your site to have higher ranking on search engines. What it means is that it should have the right keywords, have relevant and clear content and a well written source code. Basically this will make your site easier for the search engines to read.

Aside from the keyword requirements, you should also know that search engines, such as Google constantly change their rules in determining page ranking. The reason they do this is tom make sure that users will find exactly what they are looking for. In other words, the major consideration of the search engines is the quality of the result of the searches. Also, the commercial value of the site is also being balanced with the quality of the content. This is why Google cleaned up its search listing last year and the reason why the tricks of some of the companies for optimizing a site no longer work. For you, the website owner, this shows the importance of having a reliable SEO company.

In the past years you will notice that the focus for increasing the ranking for sites is just the keywords. Now, with the constant clean up of search engines, articles, as well as keywords, are also important. A good article can automatically promote your site across the web through the different portals and directories. Also, without the user going to the other pages, the article can give information about your site. Also, the article can improve your traffic if it is informative. Your article should have title, body or text, bibliography of the author and link to the site to make it work for you. To give credibility to your site, you should also make sure that it is well written.

Remember, the keyword requirements and the articles can make or break your site so it is better to have a professional SEO to guide you.

A tool that is used in order to increase the ranking of a site in the search engines is called Search Engine Optimization or SEO. In other words, by hiring SEO companies, your site will become more visible to your customers and potential customers. Of course this means your company will enjoy more profit. It basically works with using the right keywords that are important to your specific type of business. But of course there is more to it than using the right keywords. And if you want to hire the right company that provides this service, this is what you should know. You might be asking the relevance of knowing how it works when all you want is for them to do their work while you simply wait for your profit to increase. Well, for one, it is important to know at least the basic so that you can hire the right company. Second, it is better to have some basic knowledge if you want to know if you are really getting what you paid for.

That it is a tool that provides market analysis is the first thing that you should know. This means that a good company should be able to give you analysis of your site and that of your competitors in terms of your ranking. That it is a tool that should increase the traffic of your site is another thing that you should know. This means that it should put your site on top of the search list when a potential client searches the web for your type of product or service. The company shall explain to you how they do this. That is if you chose a good company. They will explain to you about linking your site, adding your site to directories, raising your online profile and builds brand awareness for your site. There are also other details, more than these and a good company shall explain them to you in ways you will surely understand. This means if you have hard time understanding their explanation, contact another company and forget about them. Their specific plan for your site or specific marketing strategy is another thing you should check. Like in any other business, marketing plans and strategies, even for Seo are concrete. They should be able to give you one that will show you how it will increase your sales. Lastly, again, analysis your site and the site of your competitors are very important. The problems of your site, from indexing to architecture and how your company is doing will be shown to you here. How well you are competing in the market is another thing it will show you.

SEO is a continuous process is something you should keep in mind. You will have to work constantly with the company you have chosen. Together, you shall meet all the challenges in making your site have high rank in search engines to increase your sales.

This may not be suitable for everyone!…and it may take some time and testing to set up
Google alerts with the right keywords, so that the Google alerts feed relevant
information into your twitter account for your twitter audience.

This process will take 3 different web sites (tools).

http://twitterfeed.com/ – http://bit.ly/ – Google alerts (your account)

Open all 3 in a different window.

You obviously will need a Google and a twitter account for this.

Go to your Google account and click on Google alerts. Enter your Search terms.

I leave it on comprehensive, but you may want to change that later. After some time check
your twitter account and see if the Google alerts are what your “followers” may want to
read about. You can also try different keywords for the alerts until it fits your needs.

Click create alert.

On the next page find your alert and click edit. On the drop down menu change this from
email to feed and click save. This changes the Google alerts into a RSS feed and later it will
be feeding directly into your twitter account as “tweets”. You can also preview in the
Google reader to see what the feeds will look like. Modify your search terms if it is not
what you want.

Click on the feed. On the next page find the URL to the feed and copy the URL only
(“http://…and the feed”—everything between the 2 double quotation marks.) I hope this
is easy enough to follow.

Next, go to http://bit.ly/

We will shorten the URL of the Google feed in bit.ly, since twitter only allows 140
characters.

Sign in with your twitter username and password at bit.ly

You will have to find your API login and API key on bit.ly

Click on Post to Twitter as “yourtwittername” Change (click on change)

Click on: Add another account

Find your API Key and API login.

Next: Go to http://twitterfeed.com/

You do not need an open Id for Twitterfeed. If you have a Google account you can sign in
at Twitterfeed with your Google account.

2. Login to Twitterfeed (click on that)

This will take you to the login page. There is a drop down menu.

On the drop down menu click on Google (make sure you are signed in your Google account so
Twitterfeed will detect that). Click login. The first time it may ask you for permission.
Click continue.

Click “go to my feeds (or create a new one)”

On the next page click on “create new feed”.

On the next page enter your twitter username and password.

Click on test twitter authentication.

Enter your Google alert URL that you copied earlier at “RSS Feed Url”

Click test your RSS feed. This should check positive.

Update frequency….go easy to test it out. Maybe every 4 hours for now.

Post up to: maybe only 1 for now.

Include: I only include the title here.

Shorten link through: on the drop down menu find bit.ly

This opens up “Your login” and the “API key” from bit.ly

Now go back to bit.ly and copy and paste the “API login” and the “API key” one by one
over to Twitterfeed. (Make sure you capture the whole API key)

Click “create it”.

You are done. This will take some time for it to kick in and be fed to your twitter
account as tweets.

Modify the Google Alerts as needed later. You can view your feeds when you go to your
Twitter account’s profile.

Of course, this is also how you can feed your Site Blog into your twitter account. Every
time your blog is updated it will be fed into your twitter account.

I don’t mean to say you write articles only for SEO purposes: write articles to share knowledge. SEO is a just a beneficial by-product. Every website needs inbound links because search engines use the number of “valid” inbound links to evaluate your website and rank it accordingly. It is not the only factor but it is an important factor.

When people directly link to your website you cannot control what anchor text the other webmasters use. You can request them to change it but it is not practical to track every incoming link and then ask the webmaster to use the right anchor text. The best way is, submit articles that already have the right anchor text in the links.

Meaningless articles filled with loads of keywords are a strict no-no if you want your article marketing campaign to be effective.

Often you will find publishers of article directory sites rejecting them outright. While SEO is an important goal for any business owner to direct traffic to the site, it shouldn’t be the only goal of article marketing. The main focus should be on
imparting useful knowledge, ideas and practical tips that readers can use.

Only then will the publisher feel the article is of worth. SEO follows as an added benefit.

You can use strategic keywords in places where you deem it necessary. Randomly populating the article with keywords will just jeopardize your campaign.

Steps to be followed in website development and Marketing

Keyword Research

Before one goes for the website development one should always do some research work on Keywords.

Why Keywords?

Keywords are analytical part of an website which helps in bringing up the site in search engine rankings.

It can be difficult to choose the Keywords that describe your business so that users will see your website when they perform an online search. How do you go about it? This article offers some useful tips.Obviously, you want people who are searching for what you can provide to find your website near the top of those results pages. How do you manage this feat?
The easy answer is “by using keywords and key phrases.”
The tricky part of that answer, as you might have guessed, is that you need to use the right keywords. choosing the wrong keyword would do no good from search engine point of view.

Choosing and researching good keywords is a process that takes several steps. I won’t have the room to cover all of the steps completely in this article, so I will cover the rest in a subsequent article. Basically, the process goes through four stages:

Collecting initial keyword ideas.

This is also known as brainstorming. Come up with plenty of ideas; ask other people for ideas, too, including your customers. In this article, I’ll discuss some do’s and don’ts so you can target your ideas a little, and maybe even come up with a few you wouldn’t have thought of originally.

Checking keyword research tools.

There are online tools that offer information about the number of times users perform searches for specific words. This is very important, because it will help you not at all to optimize for a keyword the search engines never see. Two of the best-known keyword research tools are Wordtracker and Overture.

Selecting keywords.

This is the point where you put the information from your research together and decide which keywords are going to deliver the best performance for you. Note that I said “performance;” the best keywords might not be the ones that will deliver the most traffic.

Analytics.

After you’ve chosen your keywords and optimized your site, you need to perform measurements to see whether it’s delivering the amount of traffic and conversions you expected. You can use this information to make adjustments and refine your keyword strategy.

website development and marketing is a hot topic to discuss but here one finds quite a few ways how to deal with it. For more information you can find on site: Website development

Writen by Matt Jackson

Websites come and websites go; it's a fact. It's also a fact that websites which have exceptional website content don't go very often. In order to win and retain business you need to be able to attract, keep and excite people's attention but for many that isn't always an achievable target. However without website content that can do this and do it quickly you are losing visitors and potential customers to your competition so if you can't create the website content that will achieve this and more you should consider getting someone who can.

Website content for visitors.

In bygone times keyword cramming your website content was the order of the day; it got you ranked high on search engines affording you plenty of hits to your website but in due course people realised that the visitors they were winning weren't actually taking advantage of the offers on site or clicking the affiliate links. Search engines also cottoned on pretty quickly to the art of keyword cramming and eventually devised a cunning plot that penalises you for the excessive use of keywords within your website content. This article uses a keyword density of just over 6% for the keywords 'website content' and that is just about right. You need to get the balance just right; not making readers obviously aware of the over existence of the term website content but including it often enough that it will get you brownie points with search engines.

Website content for search engines.

Search engines don't employ millions of people to trawl through the millions of websites and then judge how good the content is, instead they use robots or spiders that will crawl your website and measure the use of your keywords in order to ascertain the relevancy and usefulness of your website content. If they find it has too high a percentage they judge you to be a keyword crammer and you will be penalised. If it's too low they determine (rightly or wrongly) that your website content isn't relevant to potential visitors. Again you get penalised. You have to get the balance just right.

Website content that sells your product.

Your website visitors are your potential customers and they should be treated as such, but the average online shopper is very different in temperament to the high street shopper. They want to see useful content surrounding your products and they want to see it on a relevant topic. The latest and most common way to do this is through the use of a number of articles; these articles serve a couple of very useful purposes that we will discuss in a minute.

You should use website content that informs, excites and compels people to purchase your product and it should do so quickly. The average website visitor will give you 3 or 4 seconds before they decide whether to read on. If you can hook them within those few seconds then they become very strong leads; you know they are interested in what you have to say. That gives you the first sentence, possibly two to get your message across.

Don't forget that it can take up to four times as long to read off a computer screen as it can on paper so your website content should be restricted to a minimum of 300 words on a informative page to 1000 words on a page. Any less and you may struggle giving them anything useful but more than this and they'll stop reading. The optimum word count is between 500 and 700 words.

Articles that give value to your website content.

Used well a number of article pages on your site will serve as keyword specific website content pages and also to give your visitors even more information. If you have 50 keywords you want to use you could use 1 article for each keyword. This article would then act as a separate page of website content that will rank on the search engines for that one keyword. Each well written article that your visitors read will move them one step closer to purchasing your product so use them well.

A final word on website content.

The final thing to remember about website content is that it HAS to be unique. Copied or plagiarised website content will see you heavily penalised by the search engines and where a few dollars may have got you high up in the rankings with very well written website content, using stale copied website content will see you plummet to the bottom end of the search results.

About The Author
Matt Jackson www.webwisewords.com is the website of a professional freelance writer who specialises in writing exceptional quality, 100% original website content at more than reasonable rates. Search engines also cottoned on pretty quickly to the art of keyword cramming and eventually devised a cunning plot that penalises you for the excessive use of keywords within your website content. This article uses a keyword density of just over 6% for the keywords ‘website content’ and that is just about right. You need to get the balance just right; not making readers obviously aware of the over existence of the term website content but including it often enough that it will get you brownie points with search engines.

Website content for search engines.

Search engines don’t employ millions of people to trawl through the millions of websites and then judge how good the content is, instead they use robots or spiders that will crawl your website and measure the use of your keywords in order to ascertain the relevancy and usefulness of your website content. If they find it has too high a percentage they judge you to be a keyword crammer and you will be penalised. If it’s too low they determine (rightly or wrongly) that your website content isn’t relevant to potential visitors.

Don’t forget that it can take up to four times as long to read off a computer screen as it can on paper so your website content should be restricted to a minimum of 300 words on a informative page to 1000 words on a page. Any less and you may struggle giving them anything useful but more than this and they’ll stop reading.
